Our facility in Batam, Indonesia specializes in the production of lighting and detection product technologies including our Specialty Lamps for industrial and photonics applications, IPL Lamps and Trigger Coils, as well as Infra-Red Detectors (IRD), Sensor Modules and Pyro-electric Ceramic Wafers. Operating since September 1994, this site is also responsible for manufacturing of our Thermopile Sensors (TPS), Thermopile modules (TPM), CCD Sensors and Printed Circuit Board Assemblies.

We are seeking an experienced QA Unit Manager to lead the implementation and continuous improvement of our Quality Management System across our electronics manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for maintaining compliance with ISO 9001 and related quality standards, while also ensuring the organization meets corporate social compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain the QMS in accordance with ISO 9001 and applicable regulatory standards.

• Drive continuous improvement and alignment of quality processes, KPIs, documentation, and management review practices.

• Ensure effective implementation of corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes across all functions.

• Plan, coordinate, and lead internal audits, certification audits, customer audits, and third-party compliance audits.

• Ensure timely and effective closure of non-conformities and continuous audit readiness.

• Maintain all QMS documentation and audit evidence in accordance with certification requirements.

• Manage and develop the QMS team; ensure proper training, evaluation, and development of QMS personnel.

• Partner with key departments to embed quality and compliance awareness throughout the organization.

• Lead communication and reporting on QMS performance to senior management and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering, Quality, Industrial Management, or a related field.

• 5–8 years of progressive experience in quality systems within electronics or high-tech manufacturing.

• Strong background in ISO 9001 and familiarity with internal and external audit frameworks.

• Working knowledge of ISO 13485 or IATF 16949 is highly preferred.

• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor and Six Sigma Green Belt Certification is highly preferred

• Skilled in root cause analysis, risk assessment, and problem solving

• Experience handling customer and social compliance audits is essential.

• Expertise in quality systems management and audit practices

• Strong leadership, ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and communicate at all levels

• High attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and process control.

• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
