Job Description:

Part of Our Client Mining Explosives, which is a leading developer, producer and supplier of commercial explosives, initiating systems and blasting services for mining, quarrying and construction markets and Looking for Operation Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all operational aspects related to the manufacturing and delivering bulk explosives and
• accessories to blast locations
• Responsible for implementing and continually improving operational procedures, standards, safe working practices in order to prevent any sub-standard conditions or actions that could result in an unplanned safety event
• Oversee support functions such as Safety, Technical Services, Engineering and Maintenance, Human Capital and Training, Supply Chain and Logistics and Finance in order to provide guidance or direction to each respective department that enhances the support required to efficiently deliver our contractual obligations to our customers
• Assist in delivering the business strategy into specific objectives and goals for the business unit and direct the implementation of policies and procedures
• Understand and manage the Indonesian business environment including statutory regulatory compliance requirements applicable to Indonesian laws
• Accountable for ensuring that all operational employees are trained and certified as per regulation or customer requirements to perform the tasks for which they have been employed
• Accountable for the Safe operations of all equipment and manufacturing plants
• Accountable for ensuring that the quality of manufactured and delivered products is kept up to standard and meets the required specifications
• Accountable for the quality of blasting services and ensuring that all operations operate in accordance with regulatory requirements or as per contractual obligations
• Ensure that only permitted and approved raw materials are used to manufacture products

The Requirements:

• A tertiary qualification (Diploma or Degree), preferably in Mining Engineering combined with a minimum of seven (7) years relevant experience is required.
• Has an experience in HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) Management System.
• The incumbent must have an intimate knowledge mining operations such as open-pit, quarry and underground massive mining methods and possess the ability to interact with customers at all operational and management levels.
• The incumbent must familiarize himself/herself with all relevant regulatory requirements related to the mining and explosives industry within the Republic of Indonesia.
• Strong communication skills to motivate employees, suppliers, internal and external stakeholders and line management
• Having POM Certificate will be advantage
• Hold Blasting Competency (KJL) Class II is a must
• Holds SIM A Driving License
• Able to speak and write in English
• Willing to be placed at Balikpapan
