Job Overview:

McDermott Batam opening GDP 2024 Program. This program is designed with continuous development in both professional and personality aspects over a two-year period. Graduate Engineers get individual, tailored two-year career path plan, to build solid foundation of skills and competencies for a long-term career in McDermott business. During the Program, Graduate Engineer will be a member of the Engineering Department.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Enroll in the two-year program broken down into 4 rotations across different business units.
• Contribute during On-the-job experience on assigned Tasks & Responsibilities refer to McDermott procedure and policies.
• Understand and apply of the roles and functions of assigned functions groups and units.
• High standard of safe working practice, quality, and productivity as well as compliance with the code of business conducts.
• Review and understand policies and Yard procedures, participate in any improvements where required.
• Attending/participate in training and provide feedback or improvement as required.
• Support and adhere of the implementation of safe working practice, high quality, productivity, and compliance with the code of business conducts.

Essential Qualifications and Education:

• Fresh Graduate and or with max. 1 years’ work experience.
• Min. Engineering bachelor’s degree (Ocean/Offshore, Mechanical, Naval, Marine, Electrical, Chemical, Metallurgy, Material, Civil, Piping, Industrial, Applied Physics, Process, Refrigeration, Architectural Engineering) from Reputable University
• GPA Score at least 3.50 (out of 4.00).
• Minimum TOEFL score 550 or IELTS 6.5, iBT 80, Max. 1 year validity.

Preferred Qualifications and Education:

• Good communication and interpersonal skill (organization experience, work/internship experience)
• Being able to work under pressure, learn quickly, and adapt to new problems and situations.
• Honesty and high ethics, determination, active listening, confidence and focused.
