ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Assist in design & development of new products
• Assist in investigating and implementing improvements to existing product range
• Assist in overseeing external testing of products
• Assist in training sales and appropriate internal staff in technical aspects of lighting and product knowledge
• Assist sales and clients with technical queries
• Support and provide technical documentation to the Operations Manager (OM)
• Maintain relationships with existing suppliers

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Product Design, or a similar field
• Experience in designing and developing products would be an advantage
• Fresh graduates with design competition experience are welcome to apply
• Proficient in English, both verbal and written
• Knowledge in Solidworks and/or Autodesk Inventor
• Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Indesign
• Understanding of 3D design and 3D printing
• Ability to work to project deadlines
• High level of attention to detail
