At Caterpillar’s Indonesia Batam, we manufacture Hydraulic Mining Shovels products used in building the infrastructure and mining to move materials that makes a better world.

As Caterpillar’s Facilities Coordinator, you will work both independently and as part of a team to perform data analysis to guide on strategic and tactical decisions related to facilities engineering and services. You will also be a part of overall facility engineering to maintain and / or improve machine performance & physical availability and uptime while comply with safety and other regulations.

As the Facilities Coordinator, you will:

• Responsible to help make safe working environment for everyone.

• Statistical analysis based on Computerized Maintenance Management System, Preventive Maintenance database, and other maintenance data sources.

• Facilitate capital assets Multi-Generational Project Plan based on asset health assessments.

• Creates, updates, and improves facilities engineering standard works.

• Coordinate maintenance schedules to align between work orders and resources required.

• Facilitate facilities engineering capital and expense budgeting and identify opportunities for cost savings.

• Detailed budget management with accountability for delivering to spend profile on time

• Order recognition and organisation of purchase orders across functional areas

• Maintain contract and utility cadence for various suppliers

• Support official government data collection requests and support through official channels

The successful candidate must bring:

• Finance or business administration degree background or equivalent experiences.

• 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Fluent in SAP, Power BI, PowerApps, Excel

• Knowledge of data, process and events; ability to use tools and techniques for analyzing and documenting logical relationships among data, processes or events.

• Knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources

• Ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic way.

• Ability to collaborate, communicate and work with cross functional teams to provide updates on key departmental activities.

Top candidates will also bring (would be highly considered):

• Strong Problem Solving and analytical skills.

• Knowledge of large-scale budge management

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Additional Information

Shift: Regular

Work location: Batam, Kepulauan Riau

You will work both in an office and manufacturing shop-floor environment.

Domestic relocation is available for this position.
