This position is for McPEC Marine Offshore & Engineering, a company under the Kuok Group Singapore project location in Batam.

• Ensure all HSE and Quality Policies are met.
• Responsible to arrange necessary safety work permits in desired work area
• Check and identify all the safety hazards are well as infringements that being identified
• Report and discuss with Manager of respective projects and highlighted work progress status / update
• Check and identify all the welding that had been done by Welder
• To attend Daily DPSM meeting (Daily Project Safety Meeting) and to pass down any safety related

messages to the workers

• To ensure job deployment of the workers are assigned daily
• Ensure that workers are reported to foreman and instructions are to be carried out accordingly
• Working as a team leader responsible for on job – training grading and performance appraisals of team

members.

• Able to perform the task given independently when required
• Take initiative step towards improvement of the in-process work procedure
• To follow Safety Rules and Regulation set by the Yard.
• Housekeeping activities.
• Provide support for specific tasks on ad-hoc basis as and when required
• To follow the Safety Rules and Regulation set refer to Occupational Health & Safety Policy and

Environmental Policy by the yard

• 
  Minimum graduated from Senior / Vocational High School
• Have 2 years’ experiences as Welding Supervisor in a Shipyard, Oil & Gas industry or equivalent
• Preferably someone with experience as a trainer for welders
• Welder qualified (i.e. 4G & 6G) from external institution
• Understanding Welding Procedure Specification (WPS)
• Electrode pre-heating electrode/material
• Able to speak and communicate in English
• Initiative, self-motivating and willingness to accept additional workload.
