Key Responsibilities:

• Handle and be responsible for the full spectrum of Accounts Payable (AP) functions.
• Receive, verify, and record supplier/vendor invoices with proper supporting documents.
• Perform 3-way matching of vendor invoices, debit notes, and credit notes against Purchase Orders, VPAs, and GRNs, and investigate discrepancies when mismatches occur.
• Ensure payments are processed accurately and on time.
• Coordinate with internal departments for invoice approvals and payment processing.
• Update daily payment reports.
• Communicate with suppliers/vendors to resolve discrepancies or payment issues.
• Update and maintain vendor master data, cashbook, and stocklist records.
• Maintain records of vendor accounts and perform Statement of Account (SOA) reconciliations to ensure all liabilities are fully taken up.
• Handle administrative purchasing tasks, including preparing purchase agreements and purchase orders.
• Responsible for processing staff claims.
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by the manager.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in accounts payable or finance administration.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Oracle NetSuite or QuickBooks).
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Good communication in English and coordination abilities.
• Willing to learn and a fast learner.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team and meet tight deadlines.

Location : Batam Centre, Batam.

• Batam: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Accounting / Finance: 1 year (Preferred)
