The Night Shift Manager, will responsible for overseeing operations, supervising staff, ensuring safety, quality and productivity, and maintaining high standards of service or production during night hours.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON

• Supervise and lead the night shift team to meet safety, quality & productivity targets.
• Monitor operations to ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and legal requirements.
• Conduct nightly handovers and prepare reports for management.
• Handle emergencies or incidents according to SOP.
• Oversee the training and mentoring new or existing team members during night shifts.
• Oversee the troubleshooting operational issues and coordinate with other departments as needed.
• Oversee multiple technical projects within production technical operations, ensuring goals are met through specialized expertise and technological innovation
• Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment
• Manage resources and schedules to meet established specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards
• Move, pack, and sort raw materials or finished goods
• Monitor the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products
• Maintain accurate daily production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis
• Handle more complex tasks and make critical decisions affecting project outcomes, requiring advanced problem-solving and technical expertise
• Review work orders, schedule resources, and monitor manufacturing operations to ensure alignment with business objectives and drive operational excellence
• Adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completing all required training
• Commit to continuous improvement and compliance with regulatory requirements, meeting individual job requirements and contributing to the overall compliance of the organization

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

• Degree in any engineering field
• Min 10 years of relevant experience in manufacturing operations and 5 years in a supervisory role
• Comfortable to be based in permanent night shift role (7am-7pm Mon- Fri)
