Description

• HSSE Professional to act as a ‘trusted advisor,’ collaborating with HSSE Team, Supervisors and workers, as a critical partner providing recommendations with appropriate judgment on HSSE issues.
• HSSE leader to support plant in the implementation of HSSE systems and safe work practices, aiming to cultivate a safe and healthy working environment, inspire employees, promote a culture of safety, trust, and care, and enhance environmental stewardship.
• To set high safety standards by serving as an influencer and catalyst for change, and by fostering relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Requirement

Available for: D3, D4, S1

• Diploma/bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety, Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental Engineering or related field.
• Environmental Certifications is beneficial.
• ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015 Auditor (preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in HSSE in a manufacturing industry.
• Collaboration, communication, personal performance, self-motivation and discipline.

Job Responsibilities

• Support HSSE team in ensuring the plant operations meet all applicable safety regulations and standards requirements.
• Support HSSE team in the implementation of a systems approach to health, safety, and environment in accordance with the International Standards, local HSSE regulations and best practices.
• Support HSSE team and supervisors in conducting risk assessments, job hazard analysis and ensuring controls in place.
• Support the plant in the implementation of emergency response plans. Coordinate drills and exercises to test emergency procedures and response capabilities.
• Participate in investigations of incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and prevent recurrence.
• Support in the delivery of basic HSSE training including inductions to educate employees on safety protocols, procedures, and best practices. Ensure all personnel understand the potential hazards.
• Conduct daily tours to ensure compliance with safety practices and company policies.
