British American Tobacco Indonesia has an exciting opportunity for an InternUp – Operations (Production Engineering) in Malang
Role Statement
The BAT Indonesia InternUP is a 6-month internship program designed to help you transform your potential into real opportunities and grow within our company. It’s more than just an internship, it’s a dynamic learning experience where you’ll flourish, develop key skills, and become a future industry leader.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assist in predictive maintenance activities, including vibration analysis using MATLAB.
• Help maintain robotic process automation (RPA) tools for predictive maintenance.
• Support SCADA system monitoring and follow up on issues with vendors or stakeholders.
• Contribute to loss analysis for minor stops, process failures, breakdowns, and quality issues.
• Assist in collecting and preparing documents related to continuous improvement (Kaizen) activities.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Informatics, or Instrumentation/Physics (MIPA), with max. 1 year of experience (final-year students are welcome).
• Available for a full-time internship for 6 months.
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Skilled in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of digital tools (e.g., Power BI, PowerApps, digital logs, MATLAB, AI) is a plus.
• Knowledge of PLC programming or database programming is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; able to work well in cross-functional teams.
