British American Tobacco Indonesia has an exciting opportunity for an InternUp – Pilot Plant in Malang
Role Statement
The BAT Indonesia InternUP is a 6-month internship program designed to help you transform your potential into real opportunities and grow within our company. It’s more than just an internship, it’s a dynamic learning experience where you’ll flourish, develop key skills, and become a future industry leader.
Your key responsibilities will include:

• Support daily operations of the production line to ensure sample products meet quality standards and schedules.
• Assist in identifying and analyzing production issues together with the Quality Control team.
• Help review and analyze production process data to improve efficiency and product quality.
• Maintain good housekeeping and proper material handling to ensure product traceability and organization.
• Follow and support safety, health, security, and environmental (HSSE) practices to maintain a safe workplace.
• Assist with basic machine checks and maintenance to help keep equipment running smoothly.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. Fresh graduates with max. 1 year of experience, or final-year students are welcome to apply.
• Available for a full-time internship for 6 months.
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Ability to work with data and information to support production analysis.
• Basic problem-solving skills, familiarity with structured problem-solving tools is a plus.
• Basic electrical knowledge, with familiarity in PLC or machine software systems considered an advantage.
