Job Description Summary

To be Quality Inspector to support repair process of GE gas turbine Hot Gas Path (HGP) components in PT GENTS Service Center. In this role, you will be an integral part of our skilled workforce, tasked with the inspection process of gas turbine components to achieve highest quality products by complying to world class safety standards at all times.

Job Description

Essential Functions, responsibilities

• Perform inspection process on gas turbine repair process with various measurement tools and/or NDT methods (as applicable).
• Interpret and work based on shop work instructions, and GE repair standards to achieve high quality products that meet requirements.
• Inspect and assess GE gas turbine components for any unserviceable defects.
• Perform quality documentation based on inspection process result.
• Collaborate with other operators, supervisors, engineers, and other staff for daily operations.
• Adhere to all EHS procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Raise any concerns and/or stop works if observing any unsafe condition or quality risks during daily job.
• Participate in GE Lean Action Work Out (AWO) event.

Qualifications requirements

• Minimum graduated from vocational high school with major of manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, or other related disciplines.
• Have at least two years working experience in quality inspector role.
• Able to use microsoft office (Word, Excel) and operate computer/laptop as needed.
• Have experience with basic NDT process and QMS procedures
• Having NDT certification (Level II, on PT method) would be a plus
