Key Responsibilities:

1. Cost Tracking and Analysis:

• Assist in tracking and analyzing manufacturing costs, including materials, labor, and overhead.
• Support the preparation of cost reports to identify variances and trends.

• Provide support for any ad-hoc cost analysis requests from management.

7. Reporting:

• Prepare periodic cost reports for management review.
• Assist in generating reports for internal and external audits.

8. Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements within the cost accounting processes.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and accounting standards.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: Internship or coursework in cost accounting manufacturing company.
• Skills:
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., ERP systems).
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Working Conditions:

• Typically based in an office environment within a manufacturing facility.
• May require some time spent on the production floor for cost analysis purposes.
• Once in a while doing stock opname by checking the silo
