Boston Scientific Indonesia’s 12-month Sales Trainee Program is designed to nurture the next generation of commercial professionals who are interested in the medical technology industry.

In these 12 months, you will gain structured, real-world experience in market research and sales in a world-class medical technology company.

Key Responsibilities

Market Research

• Understand market trends, customer behaviours and needs and competitor landscape
• Conduct fieldwork, interviews and other research as necessary to generate insights
• Identify opportunities and potential for growth and expansion

Sales

• Participate in sales calls, customer meetings and product demonstrations
• Manage existing customers and achieve sales targets of assigned territories
• Under supervision, plan and develop the market to acquire new customers
• Assist with sales reporting and related activities

Who Should Apply

We are looking for up to 7 trainees to be based across Indonesia. If selected, you will be based in Jakarta, Medan, North Sulawesi (Manado), South Sulawesi (Makassar), East Kalimantan (Balikpapan), West Java (Bandung) or South Sumatra (Palembang). Given this, we will give priority to students who will be graduating from a university in these cities.

• University students graduating (or just graduated) in 2025, pursuing degrees in Pharmacy, Nursing, Biology or other Life Sciences disciplines and currently based in Jakarta, Medan, Manado, Makassar, Balikpapan, Bandung or Palembang. Priority will be given to students who are based in these regions as there will be no relocation offered
• Strong interest in sales in the medical technology industry
• Strong communication skills, self-driven, eager to learn, curious and resilient
• Excited to work in a customer-facing, dynamic, fast-paced environment
