Rosters: 6/3

WE ARE SEEKING NOW:

"Technical Advisor - Mechanical Maintenance" to work in Mauritania for a 2 year contract.

Daily responsibilities:

Crushing Circuit:

1. The general maintenance of the crushing circuit which includes Gyratory crusher, Apron feeders, Conveyor belts, and Pebble crusher.

2. Develop SOPs and train nationals on it.

3. Provide technical inputs on how to optimize the circuit in terms of production by reducing maintenance downtime.

4. Share any improvement ideas for the circuit.

Milling Circuit:

1. The general maintenance of the milling circuit which includes one SAG Mill and two Ball Mills, Cyclones and pumps, Pre-Leach and Tailing thickeners, screens, etc.

2. Develop SOPs and train nationals on pump maintenance, lubrication and greasing, cyclone maintenance, etc.

3. Provide technical inputs on how to optimize the circuit in terms of production by reducing maintenance downtime.

4. Share any improvement ideas for the circuit.

CIL & Elution Circuit:

1. The general maintenance of the CIL & Elution which includes the CIL tanks, various pumps, gearboxes, agitators, elution kilns, Delkor screens, Oxygen plant, Compressors, etc.

2. Develop SOPs and train nationals on gearbox rebuilds, intertank screens rebuilt, Oxygen plant maintenance, Elution kiln maintenance, pump maintenance, maintenance, etc.

3. Provide technical inputs on how to optimize the circuit in terms of production by reducing maintenance downtime.

4. Share any improvement ideas for the circuit.

Must Haves:

• Mechanical trade background on a Gold Mine is essential
• 10 years plus maintenance experience on a gold mine is essential
• Experience on Milling circuit and CIL & Elution circuit is essential
• Strong safety & environmental awareness
• Strong knowledge of process pump maintenance
• Knowledge of computer based maintenance systems
• Experience in training and coaching
• Mechanical Trade certificate essential – additional relevant qualifications highly regarded
• Applicants who are fluent in French or/and Arabic will be preferred.
