About The Role

Lesaffre, a world leader in fermentation, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Director to lead and drive the technical strategies and operations of our organization. Reporting directly to the Deputy General Manager and collaborating functionally with the APAC Technical Director, this role will be responsible for providing strategic technical leadership and effectively managing budgets, resources, and timelines to deliver complex projects. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 15 years of experience in a senior technical leadership role, with a proven track record in the fermentation or food/beverage industry, and possess strong problem-solving, communication, and team-building skills.

Job Description

• Providing technical direction and oversight for the design, development, and implementation of innovative solutions to meet client requirements.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address technical challenges, optimize processes, and drive continuous improvement.
• Developing and implementing technical strategies, policies, and standards to ensure the quality, reliability, and scalability of the organization's technical infrastructure.
• Staying abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and leveraging this knowledge to enhance the organization's technical capabilities.
• Mentoring and developing the technical team, fostering a culture of innovation and knowledge-sharing.
• Representing the organization in technical forums, conferences, and client meetings, and serving as a subject matter expert.
• Effectively managing budgets, resources, and timelines to deliver projects within the defined scope, cost, and schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Have a strong leadership skill
• Minimum 15 years of experience in a senior technical leadership role, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
• Extensive knowledge of software development methodologies, cloud computing, data management, and emerging technologies.•Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience in managing budgets, resources, and timelines for large-scale projects.
• Proven ability to mentor and develop technical teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
• Excellent English language proficiency, both written and verbal, is a must for this role.
