Summary

Be part of something meaningful and green through an Environmental Sustainability Internship at Grand Hyatt Bali! As an intern in this role, you’ll support our commitment to Hyatt’s World of Care program by helping the hotel operate more responsibly and sustainably for the planet, its people, and responsible business practices.

Your main mission? To help create distinctive experiences while caring for the environment. You will assist in tracking sustainability metrics (such as energy, water, and waste), support recycling and zero-waste initiatives, promote environmental campaigns, and engage both guests and colleagues in green practices. You’ll also help with documentation, reporting, and supporting special environmental projects across departments.

This internship is ideal for students passionate about environmental conservation and the impact of hospitality. You’ll enjoy a personalised learning journey guided by your mentor (Learning & Development Manager), coach (Sustainability or Engineering Leader), and buddy (Environmental Champion). You’ll also have the opportunity to participate in employee activities, volunteering events, green projects, employee clubs, and numerous other initiatives that make a real difference.

Qualifications

• Currently studying or recently graduated (within the past year) from a D1, D2, D3, D4, or S1 program in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Hospitality, Engineering, Public Health, or related major.

• Willing to commit to a full-time internship for a minimum of 6 months.

• Passionate about sustainability, eco-innovation, and making a positive impact.

• Interested in hospitality operations and how they can go green.

• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to support documentation and awareness campaigns.

• Confident in basic English communication, both verbal and written.

• Responsible, collaborative, and comfortable working with multiple departments.

• Committed to supporting distinctive guest experiences through Hyatt’s World of Care values.
