PRODUCTION AND OPERATIONS :
- Overseeing the production process. This involves planning, scheduling and executing production runs to meet deadlines and quality standards
- Managing staff; hiring, training and leading a team of chemical technicians, operators and other production personnel
- Optimizing plant operations, ensuring efficient use of equipment and resources to minimize waste and production costs
- Monitoring production metrics, keeping track of key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and address any production issues
SAFETY AND QUALITY CONTROL :
- Enforcing safety regulations, implementing and adhering to strict safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries
- Ensures product quality, maintaining a rigorous quality control program to guarantee that produced chemicals meet specification
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Budget management, developing and maintaining production budgets
- Environmental compliance, ensuring the plant operates by environmental regulations
- Keeps abreast of new technologies and industry best practices
- To manage the various teams in the factory
- Lias with government official
