As a Freelance Live Commerce Host, you will be the on-screen face representing the brand and/or creator account during live shopping broadcasts. You will be responsible for directly interacting with the audience, presenting products in an engaging and informative manner, and driving viewer interaction to maximize sales conversion rates. You will collaborate with the content, commercial, and production teams to ensure every live session is well-prepared, audience-focused, and aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Live Hosting Activity & Audience Engagement:
  • Act as the main presenter during live shopping events, introducing products, and delivering compelling product narratives.
  • Actively interact with the live audience, answering their questions, and encouraging participation through chats, giveaways, or calls-to-action.
  • Maintain a lively, professional, and brand-appropriate persona during all live sessions.
• Event Preparation and Coordination:
  • Coordinate with the content team and live streaming assistants/operators to draft the event flow, talking points, and product highlights.
  • Conduct thorough product research to ensure accurate and persuasive presentations.
  • Rehearse and align with the technical team to ensure smooth event execution.
• Sales-Oriented Product Presentation:
  • Present products with a focus on Unique Selling Points (USPs) to influence purchasing decisions.
  • Able to adjust hosting style to suit various product categories (e.g., fashion, electronics, beauty, lifestyle).
• Content Feedback & Improvement:
  • Provide feedback on audience preferences, interaction trends, and event performance to enhance future live commerce content strategies.
  • Propose creative ideas for interactive segments, campaigns, or themed events.
• Brand Ambassador Role:
  • Embody the brand's image and values, becoming a trustworthy and approachable figure to the audience.
  • Maintain consistency in communication tone and style across all live events.
    

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (S1) in any field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 1 years of experience as a host, presenter, MC, influencer, or content creator (experience in live commerce, teleshopping, or live streaming platforms is a strong advantage).
• Strong public speaking and on-camera presence skills.
• Possesses a basic understanding of e-commerce or retail sales principles.
• Comfortable using live streaming tools and digital platforms (e.g., TikTok Live, Shopee Live)
