Key Tasks:

• Contribute to define project and operations strategy in line with business strategy and objectives, corporate guidelines and policies
• Ensure development and implementation of complex projects, initiatives and partnerships for operations function
• Plan and ensure daily logistics operations to deliver agreed customer, service, quality and financial objectives through site/ operations managers at one or more sites
• Develop operating budgets and proposals for new investments, and track progress of ongoing operational investments
• Ensure implementation of systems to provide adequate human resources, materials and logistics infrastructure to deliver logistics services
• Adjust operational capacities to changes/ growth in business volumes and operational requirements to profitably deliver logistics services
• Participate in identifying new opportunities, retaining and expanding customer base, and support business development through preparation and review of business cases
• Encourage prompt response and support to revenue generating functions such as sales and customer service to maximize business and revenue opportunities
• Define and ensure execution of operating processes, site infrastructure, equipment, IT systems, operating structure, etc. to deliver targeted capacities
• Monitor compliance with company/ local statutory obligations and legislation related to safety, health, security environment & quality
• Develop, communicate and enhance awareness of policies for safety of people, data and goods
• Recognize opportunities and introduce best practices focusing on delivering continuous improvement and enhanced productivity

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience/qualification
• More than 6 year’s experience in Freight Forwarding handling Project Logistics
• Has technical skill required for managing project logistics
• Has wide network in project logistic management
• Well versed of verbal and written English
• Familiarity with Ms Office Suite
