British American Tobacco Indonesia has an exciting opportunity for a Lab Technician in Malang, Indonesia.
Your key responsibilities will include:

• Support product development and continuous improvement activities (CAP1, regulatory, etc.)
• Manage product specifications, recipes, and compliance data in TaO/SAP systems
• Coordinate project execution with internal & external stakeholders to meet deployment timelines
• Support factory implementation, trials, and new product launches
• Monitor product quality through analytical tracking and recommend corrective actions
• Maintain accurate documentation, lab data, and sample records
• Prepare samples and support sensory evaluation activities
• Track project progress and budget spend within assigned portfolio.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Science/Engineering/Technology or related field)
• Experience in product development, lab, specification, or technical environments (FMCG/manufacturing preferred)
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and data interpretation
• Technical/scientific knowledge to support formulation and development work
• Proficient in MS Office and digital systems (SAP or similar tools is a plus)
• Technical report writing and sample/lab preparation capability
• Good English communication (verbal & written) and cross-functional collaboration
• Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
