Job Summary:

The Production Supervisor SMT oversees daily operations of the production floor to ensure that manufacturing goals are met efficiently, safely, and within quality standards. This role is responsible for supervising production staff, managing workflow, enforcing safety protocols, and coordinating with other departments to maintain smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise, coordinate, and lead production employees in assigned areas. Monitor daily production output and ensure targets are achieved. Enforce safety regulations and maintain a safe and clean work environment. Schedule and assign work based on production plans and priorities. Train and coach team members on proper work methods and quality standards. Monitor equipment to ensure it is in good working condition; escalate maintenance needs. Maintain records of production, employee performance, and material usage. Coordinate with Quality Assurance to ensure products meet quality standards. Implement and support continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma). Resolve personnel issues and promote teamwork and positive employee relations.

Requirements:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred). Experience: 3+ years in SMT from (Surface Mount Technology) manufacturing or production environment; 1+ year in a supervisory role. Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities. Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in MS Office and production management software (e.g., ERP systems). Willing to be placed at Batam
